We support the development of national civil-military capabilities to prevent, prepare for and respond more effectively to conflicts and disasters overseas.
The Centre is a global leader promoting best practice in civil-military-police engagement in conflict and disaster management.

The Centre hosted a visit by four Permanent Representatives from the United Nations in New York. The delegation received a briefing on the Centre’s activities and discussed the role Australia can play internationally in Peace Keeping and disaster management operations around the world.
